The first time i received a press release concerning the arrival of Andrew SHORT into the Rallyes' world i thought "YEAAAH Awesome..!" because the Challenge was very exciting to follow..! After a good first experience for a european brand of bikes, the american signed with the Yamaha Racing Team with many new great goals.. I had the chance to ask some questions to him..

#1 You come from Motocross how did the connexion with the rallye moto’s world happened..?
#2 Did You say “yes” very soon when You received the first proposition or did you take the time of reflexion due to the risks of this sport..?
#3 If the proposition would came from a non-Factory Team, would you change your answer..?
#4 How did You learn the riding in the desert/mountains..?
#5 When You ride into a Motocross’ Team there is one track.. Did You felt a kind of “loneliness” sometimes during a rally..?
#6 Do You have to prepare your body differently before a rally..?
#7 From the outside we had the feeling that You took this new challenge “step by step”, am i right..?
#8 Are there some big differences between a rallye (maybe less speed but much rocks..?) and a race like the Baja California by example (more sand and maybe more speed..?)..?
#9 Did You ask some changes on your bike before your future first rally on a Yamaha..?
#10 Being far from your country during some weeks is this something special for You..?
#11 Do You keep an eye on the SX and MX in the USA and if yes, what is your opinion about the Supercross’ season..?
#12 Husqvarna and KTM have a strategical position to place more bikes as possible on the podium, you are now with Yamaha, is it something that could be “difficult” for you during the next rallies..?
#13 We have all seen the bad situation of the young rider Brian Moreau, how do You deal with an eventual injury, You made the choice to never think about it or this is something You have to deal with..?
#14 What is you will after being a racer in rallyes, start a career of Team Manager..?
