The Swedish Motocross Championship (MXMSM) kicked off its 2025 season with an exhilarating first round in Uddevalla, the historic and exited MXGP track. The event, held at BMK Uddevalla, saw nice battles across all classes, GP-riders racing alongside European Championship riders and national champions, setting the stage for an exciting championship year in Sweden 2025.

Highlights from the First Round 

 MX1 Class: 

The MX1 class was totally dominated by Anton Gole, Team Motostar Yamaha, who secured first place with consistent performances and won the three heats of the event. The Thiumph rider Alvin Östlund Team FFRacing finished second, follow by the Norwegian rider Håkon Fredriksen YRC High Preformance/Yamaha Scandinvia clinched third. 

 MX2 Class: 

The Danish rider Magnus Smith, KL Racing Team KTM passed the finish line in front in two of the races and won the event after nice battles with second place Augusti Frisk KTM Scandinavia. The Swed who sensational won the European EMX 250cc Championship event in Fruenfelt in Switzerland a few weeks ago. Marcus Gredinger, Power by JJ Racing Team KTM finished third and securing KTM in the first tree positions. 

 MX-Women Class: 

The MX-Women class saw a thrilling competition with FIM Motocross World Championship riders, Norwegian rider Martine Hughes, Yamaha Team Absolut MX and the reigning Swedish MX-Women Champion, the Danish, Sara Andersen, Wozniak Racing Team, taking the top spot. Matilda Huss, Huskvarna Scandinavia finished third, an the same amount of points as second place Martine Huges. 

 USM 125cc U17 Class: 

In the USM 125cc U17 class, Alve Callemo, Husqvarna Scandinavia dominated the field with a 2nd and two wins in the 3 race event format. With a race victory in the 1st race, Gustav Axelsson, KTM Scandinavia, placed 2nd overall. On third John Karleyel on his GASGAS.

Upcoming Event: Second Round inLinköping. 

The excitement continues as the second round of the Swedish Motocross Championship heads to Linköping. The event will take place at the Sviesta Motorstadion on Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, 2025. This round promises to be as thrilling and spectacular as the first event in Uddevalla, with top riders competing for crucial championship points.
