AUSTRALIAN LEGEND CHAD REED SECURES FIRST TRIP TO LORETTA’S, INDUCTED INTO AMA MOTORCYCLE HALL OF FAME THREE DAYS LATER

Australian Legend Chad Reed Secures First Trip to Loretta’s, Inducted into AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Three Days Later

With an illustrious 18-year professional career that saw him capture a pair of Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championships, a Pro Motocross Championship, and become one of the most consistent racers in the history of the sport, it’s a shock to learn that Australian legend Chad Reed never experienced a single gate drop at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Now, the most decorated international racer of all time can check that elusive accomplishment off the list.

In his first journey on the Road to Loretta’s, Reed successfully punched his ticket at the Southeast Regional Championship from Lake Sugar Tree Motorsports Park over Father’s Day weekend. He enjoyed a winning effort in Senior (40+) and also secured a spot in Junior (25+), where he will join several other former pros in each class. However, no one holds as stellar of a racing résumé as Reed.

That historic career is what landed Reed on the list of nominees that were unveiled for the 2025 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in May. Then, just last week, Reed officially headed the group of six inductees for the Class of 2025, mere days removed from his success at the regional. He will be enshrined during the induction ceremony for the Pickerington, Ohio museum on October 23.
