TEAM FANTIC FACTORY RACING EMX – NEW YOUNG RIDERS

Fantic renews its commitment to supporting young riders, fielding two XX 125cc machines in the EMX125 European Championship under the experienced management of Daniele Marchese. The riders chosen for 2026 are Gennaro Utech, a promising 16-year-old Sicilian and reigning Italian Junior 125cc Champion, and Bertram Thorius, a 15-year-old Danish talent.

Mariano Roman, Racing Manager at Fantic Motor:

“We are happy to continue our journey in a category that has given us great satisfaction in recent years, with three EMX125 titles won in 2020, 2022, and 2024. Seeing our colors at the top of the class is always our goal. It’s ambitious, but we are confident that we can once again do an excellent job with our entire team,” adds Roman.

Daniele Marchese, Fantic Factory Racing EMX Team Owner:

“I’m happy to continue this journey with Fantic and to continue working with young riders. The 2026 project focuses on the 125cc riders, with a completely new lineup. We’ll field two XX 125cc machines, entrusting them to an Italian talent who has all the credentials to compete for the title and a very young Dane with excellent prospects for the future. We’re already working to put our riders in the best possible conditions and are confident we can build a solid season that we hope will be full of satisfaction.”

Bertram Thorius:

“I can’t wait to start this new season with the Fantic Factory Racing EMX team. I’ve already been to Italy to test the bike, and the initial impressions ahead of 2026 are very positive. My goal is to consistently finish in the top 10 and try to get closer to the top 5. I’ll be moving to Italy to be close to the team, so we can work closely and continue to improve. I feel like we’re working very well as a team, and that makes me confident I can do a great job.”

Gennaro Utech:

“I’m very happy to be working with the Fantic Factory Racing EMX team. My first impression is very good; I immediately felt at ease with the team. I also feel great on the bike. We’re working to continuously improve both my feeling and my fitness, so we can fight for the top positions in the European 125cc championship.”
