SLENY GOYER PLACES SEVENTH OVERALL AT EMX125 ROUND TWO IN SWITZERLAND

MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 Team’s Sleny Goyer has placed seventh overall at round two of the 2026 EMX125 Championship, courtesy of finishing third in Race One. An unfortunate technical issue in Race Two ruled him out of contention. In EMX250, Mano Faure also experienced a mixed weekend, placing 15th overall, but only losing one position in the series standings. The Frenchman now lies fourth.

From the warm conditions last weekend in Spain, both teams travelled to a much cooler Switzerland and the hardpack circuit of Frauenfeld for the second rounds of their respective championships. The tight and twisty circuit was clearly to Goyer’s liking, as he posted the second-fastest time in his qualifying group.

In the first EMX125 race, Goyer capitalised on his strong start to move from seventh to fourth by the end of lap one. By lap six, he was up to third with the leading riders within reach. As the race neared its conclusion, Goyer was onto the back wheel of Moritz Ernecker in second, but he was unable to make a pass on his rival and finished third. In Race Two, a technical issue ruled Goyer out of proceedings; however, his solid result in the opener secured seventh overall on the day and he now sits fourth in the series standings.

Drew Stock, competing for JK Racing Yamaha, finished 25th overall and occupies the same position in the EMX125 Championship after round two.

VHR Yamaha Official EMX250 Team’s Mano Faure reacted quickly when the gate dropped for the first EMX250 race of the weekend and started in third. After being shuffled back to fourth, Faure regrouped and made a decisive pass on Simone Mancini to move back inside the top three. Disaster then struck on lap seven as Faure was involved in a racing incident that caused him to fall. Rejoining the race in 12th, the Frenchman worked his way back up the leaderboard to finish ninth. In the second race, an unfortunate crash while running 17th caused him to withdraw, and he placed 15th overall to leave Switzerland fourth in the championship.

Jarne Bervoets delivered improving results in Frauenfeld, posting a 31-20 result for 26th overall. The Belgian lies 27th in the championship after two of 12 rounds.

Yamaha 115 M78 Motorsport’s Bernardo Tiburcio placed fifth in Race One and fourth in Race Two for an impressive fourth overall. The Brazilian rider moves up to third in the series standings following his impressive start to the 2026 season.

With a challenging second round for both classes now complete, the series resumes at the deep sand track of Riola Sardo in Sardegna on April 11-12.
