“Qualifying race was a fantastic 6th. In race 1 Kay held a good battle in 5th for a long time until a small mistake put him back to 9th after a little arm pump.

Race 2, on the 2nd lap, Kay was battling for 4th and took Mc Lellen, but then Mc Lellen ran deep on the inside, forcing Kay over the rut and over the bars, breaking the clutch lever in the process and banging himself up a bit too. »

« Being a Dutchman I was brought up riding in sand but I was really enjoying the track this weekend; it flows so well and I could find a good rhythm. The results were obviously not what I hoped for but I showed I have the speed and am closing towards a top-five finish. Perhaps next week in my home GP! »
