The second round of the Italian Junior 125 Championship took place in Alghero

The second round of the Italian Junior 125 Championship took place on Sunday in Alghero. Unfortunately, luck was not on Bertram Thorius’s side (#171), who, following his double victory at Ponte Egola, had hoped to repeat that result in Sardinia.

Unfortunately, bad luck did indeed strike: after finishing third in the qualifying heat, Bertram was involved in a crash at the start of Race One which irreparably damaged his bike, forcing him to retire. Race Two went flawlessly for Thorius and his Fantic XX125, which took the lead straight away and secured victory with a comfortable margin over the chasing pack.

The third and final round of the Italian Junior Championship takes place in Mantua on 26–27 September

Ad Alghero la seconda prova di campionato Italiano Junior 125

Si è corsa Domenica ad Alghero la seconda prova di campionato Italiano Junior 125. Purtroppo la fortuna non assiste Bertram Thorius #171 che dopo la doppia vittoria di Ponte Egola contava di bissare il risultato anche in terra Sarda.

Purtroppo la sfortuna non lo ha assistito infatti dopo un terzo posto nella batteria di qualificazione Bertram al via di gara uno è stato coinvolto in una caduta che ha danneggiato irreparabilmente la moto, vedendosi costretto al ritiro. Gara due senza sbavatura per Thorius e la sua Fantic XX125 che da subito ha preso il comando della gara portando a termina una vittoria con largo margine sugli inseguitori.
